Uniquely Brilliant

This is the best book on lifestyle, female-led, service-based D/S relationships ever written.
Period.
Rika writes as a woman, from a woman's perspective, on what it means to have and hold a submissive male partner. Her voice is clear, concise and authoritative. She sugar coats nothing. She is open and accepting of men who yearn to submit without pandering to their (our) illusions or ever being patronizing. Best of all she never for a second loses her sense of humor or shies from pointing out the absurdity of our fantasies. Her description of an utterly humiliating yet gentle and loving scene she did with her husband is classic: funny, well-written, eye-opening and very hot.
Her take on FemmeDom service is refreshingly honest. Let's face it: most women (herself included) aren't in it for the man's benefit! She makes no bones about the fact that while all healthy relationships are mutually beneficial, power-exchange relationships must be based on the primacy of the Domme, not the desires of the sub.
She covers a lot of ground in relatively few pages, including:
- what service-based D/S is and isn't
- how to use a sub's fantasies to train a sub

Eye-opening, life-changing book that makes you happy. Amazing!

After reading a lot of femdom related literature (none of which my wife found very appealing), we finally stumbled across this - unfortunately very hidden - jewel through Amazon. Wow! This book is amazing. Thank you Ms Rika for putting together such an outstanding analysis on the very core problems of a female-led D/s relationship, as well as giving advice on how to overcome these problems with ease. My wife is so thrilled and even turned on by the book and its message that it's a sheer delight to watch her grow more and more confident and happy with her dominant role in our relationship.
We are currently trying to put Ms Rika's advice into practice one to one. And so far, it's been fun, fun, fun, without any drawbacks.
The author's approach is mostly based on the powerful feelings that are brought up within the submissive when serving his lover. She argues that it is reward and motivation enough for any service-oriented sub to see his domme happy and fulfilled. The most important thing to pay attention to here, though, is that this service must be centered around her needs, and her needs only. That is the only way that guarantees that she will be happy and the relationship a success. Thus, the submissive should have no right whatsoever to lead or manipulate this kind of arrangement in any way, even though he may feel a strong urge to suggest to her certain role-playing FemDom scenarios. Those kind of activities should only be engaged in, if and when she feels like it, and should be seen as a gift to the sub.
The book is a wonderful mix between descriptive, juicy example situations of the proposed novel D/s techniques and knife-sharp psychological analysis of the male's psyche. Very well researched and written. An absolute must-read for all 24/7, female-led, D/s enthusiasts!

Part helpful, part reality check on the fetish.

The first half of the book is written in a logical and rather scientific language. The second half however is where the author speaks more from the emotionally driven dominant side and lost me. As a man who wishes to sexually and emotionally serve his woman I find it difficult to imagine respecting and wanting to serve a woman who rationalizes turning her man into a household chore-doing slave with an ever growing task list. I was looking for a book that was a guide for finding and or developing a mutual 50/50 relationship in which the woman lovingly yet dominantly demands sexual worship but otherwise is an equal but this perspective varies greatly to what I was looking for. Just a warning for those with similar views.
